I design things
I think good design solves problems
I think we should design things that create inclusive environments because ALL peeps are awesome
I think creating a portolio is hard and spelling is even harder 😜

As a designer, I believe we have the power to change the world. Yea, I know, bold statement but seriously take a look around you. Designers hold power. I choose to use my platform to create spaces where all are welcome, build accessible experiences and welcoming workplaces.
I care deeply about those around me. I believe that we can be both human and make great work together. I actually think that in order to make GREAT work you have to acknowledge that we are people. I strive to create spaces where folks feel safe and secure enough to take risks and are comfortable showing up as themselves at work. I do this by being the first to throw my hat in the ring, creating opportunities for people to participate regardless of title, setting expectations early and often, being a facilitator and giving people the tools they need to execute tasks, helping understand the ‘why’ of what we’re building. I hope to inspire folks to challenge themselves, to risk being a little uncomfy because that is where we grow.
